Hello friends, family, and fellow bloggers! Welcome to Coreyrocker. blogspot.com! For my very first post, I'm going to give some background info about my life, interests, and plans for future posts. My name is Corey Weisman. I was born in 1988 in Salisbury, Maryland; however, I moved to Leesburg, Virginia at age 8 and have since grown up there. I am currently employed as a stock clerk at the SuperTarget of Leesburg and am proud to have maintained the same position for nearly nine years, helping myriad guests and being eager to learn more and more tasks along the way. I am also very proud to have graduated from George Mason University in the summer of 2013, complete with a BA in one of my all-time favorite subjects, history.
     Traveling has been a lifelong hobby of mine, as I have visited all 48 contiguous U.S. states as well as three Canadian provinces! Other lifelong hobbies have included: reading, exercising (my favorite types are weightlifting, swimming, and walking on land and water), bowling, miniature golf, shopping, surfing the Net, and spending quality time with friends and family.
     My all-time #1 interest, however, has always been: MUSIC! I have been exposed to music from a very young age and ever since then, I have enjoyed various aspects of it, such as reading about music, listening to various genres and recording artists, and even making a large amount of mix tapes (and later CDs) along the way. In addition, I took drum lessons for over a decade and what I liked about them the most is getting to play along to various songs while listening to them on CD.
    Throughout this blog, I plan to share my various experiences with regard to music, travel, etc as time marches on; I'll even share tracklistings from my personally-made mixes, which I started around the time I graduated from high school. I look forward to writing more and more posts on this blog and look forward to seeing your comments as well.
